The Role of Transformational Leaders as Bridge Between Technology Policy and Culture Internalization

This study examines how transformational leadership functions as a synergy mechanism between technology adoption and organizational culture development. Transformational leaders become role models in technology use through idealized influence, articulate inspiring visions through inspirational motivation, encourage innovation in technology utilization through intellectual stimulation, and provide tailored support through individualized consideration. They bridge managerial technology policies and operational front line realities through effective two way communication. Employee empowerment in technology decisions accelerates value internalization through heightened ownership feelings. Flexible change management with attention to emotional aspects outperforms rigid procedural approaches. Transformational leadership success depends on aligned HRM systems and leadership capacity development across all organizational levels. Sustainable synergy between technology and organizational culture requires transformational leadership distributed as collective organizational capacity rather than concentrated in few charismatic individuals.
