This study analyzes the impact that teacher example has on the formation of students' social behavior through a literature study approach. This study details the influence of teacher example at primary, secondary and upper education levels, and compares it with the role of peers in the dynamics of the development of students' social behavior. Apart from that, the study also involves the family dimension and explores the contribution of parents and the family environment as factors that strengthen or reduce the impact of teacher example. With a theoretical basis, this study highlights the complexity of interactions between teachers and students and explores the crucial contribution of parents to provide an ethical and moral foundation. The results of this study can provide better insight into the dynamics of teacher example, with implications for the formation of student character and the development of a positive learning environment
